It’s almost back to school time!

With the end of summer comes the beginning of the school year. And we all know what the abrupt end to summer vacations means: meeting meetings meetings! It can be hard to get back in the swing of things after a long summer, but meetings don’t have to be long and boring. Providing attendees with some food to snack on is a good way to get them in the door and keep them engaged. Below are a few of our most popular items for corporate meetings.

Sandwich and Macaroni Combo: Our Sandwich and Macaroni Combo is one of our best valued meals, starting at just $7.08 per person. Depending on which size you choose, it serves anywhere from 10 to 18 people. This combo comes with a gourmet sandwich tray, a macaroni salad, and a box of our classic cookies. This is a great option for those who want an easy, simple lunch at an affordable price.

Teriyaki Chicken Skewers with Asian Noodle Salad: If you are looking for something a bit different, pair our Teriyaki Chicken Skewers with an Asian Noodle Salad. Our Teriyaki Chicken Skewers come marinated in teriyaki sauce and are served with a side of house-made peanut sauce. They are packed with flavor and go well with our Asian Noodle with Chicken Salad: marinated chicken breast tops vermicelli noodles on crisp greens with snow peas, cilantro, green onion and roasted cashews.

Light Snacks: Sometimes you don’t need a full meal. A light snack for an early afternoon meeting can be a nice way to keep people engaged. A Fruit Cheese and Cracker tray along with our Tortellini Skewers and a Hummus and Veggie Tray give your group a variety of protein, fruits and veggies to keep their focus and energy up.

Desserts: Most people would say if you could choose one item to provide, it would be dessert! Our classic cookies and brownies are made fresh daily and are absolutely delicious. We also offer seasonal desserts, such as our monthly goodie tray, tres leches cake, chocolate dipped strawberries, and our summer Fruit Tart. All these options are crowd pleasers, so try each one to find your favorite!

Platters to Impress: Sometimes the catering needs of our meetings go beyond feeding our employees. Sometimes we have guests that we need to impress. From lunch-and-learns to corporate executives, sometimes you need to go the extra mile. Our Deluxe Mini Croissant Sandwiches are made to do just that! Each platter comes with an assortment of our best sandwiches on freshly baked mini croissants. Includes: Roast Turkey Waldorf, Smoked Turkey & Havarti, and Tomato Mozzarella & Avocado. Just remember they are mini-sized, so order accordingly!

Ingallina’s Combos

At Ingallina’s Box Lunch we are constantly thinking of ways to provide our customers with great prices and convenience. A few years ago, we came up with something that provides both: our Party Platter Combos. Our combos make it easy to order! No more wasting time calculating prices or trying to decide which selection of platters to order. Just choose the combo which best matches the number of people you are feeding! Combos also allow us to showcase our most popular, newest, and most cost-effective items. By putting these items together, we are also able to give a discount. This makes our customers able to feed their crew for as little as $7.08 per person!

Our Sliders Value Combo is one of our most popular combos. It comes with a Slider Sandwich Tray, Pear and Bleu Cheese Salad, and a box of our classic cookies. The Slider Sandwich tray is a customer favorite but is one of our more expensive sandwich platters when ordered by itself. But when ordered in a combo, it drops the average cost per person to $8.34.

We recently added a Gluten Free combo to our menu. As more information on Gluten allergies comes out, there is an increasing need for Gluten Free options. While more Gluten Free options are becoming available in many restaurants and grocery stores, they cost tends to be prohibitive. Our Gluten Free Combo comes with a Gluten Free Sandwich Tray, a Chicken Mozzarella Salad Bowl, and a box of our Gluten Free Oatmeal Raisin Chocolate Chip cookies and averages just $13.73 per person.

Our Breakfast Combo combines our hearty Breakfast sliders with our Fruit and Yogurt Salad along with coffee and orange juice. This is a nice alternative for those that want more than a standard continental breakfast of Danish, muffins and bagels. This brings the price down to $11.25 per person.

This combo features our executive sandwiches, our macaroni salad (a secret family recipe!) and an assortment of classic cookies. This combo is a great way for those on a budget to feed a large group, starting at just $7.08 per person!

We often provide a combo option for our monthly specials, often including our dessert of the month! This allows customers to taste our seasonal favorites at a discounted price!

If you are looking for a deal, or ease of ordering, our Party Platter Combos are the way to go. With options for Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free, there is a combo for every group. Order today for your next meeting or get-together at www.ingallina.com

Celebrate Summer with Ingallina’s!

Summer is almost in full swing! It’s time to start preparing for summer barbecues, potlucks, vacations, weddings, and other get-togethers, and Ingallina’s is here to help! Summer is all about spending time with family and friends. We have a large assortment of Box Lunches and Party Platters to make all your Summer activities a blast!

There’s nothing like cooking up some burgers, hot dogs or steaks on the barbecue with friends and family. Being stuck in the kitchen preparing side dishes, however, is not always as fun. Let Ingallina’s do the heavy cooking so you can enjoy your guests! We have a variety of summer favorites, like potato salad, macaroni salad, fruit trays, or a large bowl of chips and salsa with house-made guacamole!

With your busy summer schedule, it is sometimes hard to bring the perfect potluck dishes. Finding–or deciding on–a recipe, picking up ingredients, and finding the time to make it can be exhausting! Ingallina’s has plenty of dishes to choose from, and many can be delivered to your home or office for free! Our Bruschetta Tray, Teriyaki Chicken Skewers, or even a Fruit, Cheese & Cracker Tray make a perfect addition to any potluck.

Many people don’t think of using a catering company to make their vacation go smoothly. Consider ordering in some food during times when the family is busy planning or packing. A few Breakfast platters the morning of departure make for a quick and easy meal in the middle of the chaos. Or bring some Box Lunches on the plane—minus the water—or a cheaper lunch option. (Meals inside the airport are so expensive!) Box Lunches are also great for long car or train rides!

Summer is the most popular season for weddings. Having a delicious spread of party platters is a must! Gourmet sandwiches and salads are perfect for an afternoon wedding, or plan a dessert bar with cookies, brownies, tarts and other fabulous desserts for the wedding on a budget.

It’s also a good idea to provide a meal or snacks during the dress rehearsal. Our Pinwheel Trays, Tortellini Skewers, or Slider Sandwiches allow the wedding party to grab a quick bite on the go.

The most over-looked meal of the wedding is the morning breakfast. The morning of the wedding is the busiest, most stressful time of the whole event! Make sure the wedding party has food available to them to make the morning go smoothly. A Caprese Salad, Breakfast Slider Sandwiches, or Savory Danish tray are great options!

Picnics, Family Reunions, and corporate outings are all Summer events that can be made easier with a variety of box lunches or party platters from Ingallina’s Box Lunch. Start planning–and order–TODAY!

This is what a transparent menu looks like

If you are ordering for an office of two or a company of two thousand, we understand the stress and anxiety of getting everyone lunch. No one likes surprise fees, and everyone likes more for less. We’ve all been there, trying to order food for a group and the advertisement says $10.95 per meal! Not a bad deal. But then, everyone wants something to drink, maybe a bag of chips or a cookie too. Come checkout time, you realize there are service and delivery fees. Suddenly $10.95 per person turned into $17.95.

Our box lunch pricing is all-inclusive, containing the cost of an entrée of your choice, a bag of chips or salad roll, a fresh fruit cup, bottled water, and a dessert! Many of these items are considered add-ons to other catering companies, and can cost you $18.37 elsewhere. At Ingallina’s we believe you deserve more for less, with our complete box lunch costing between $14.45-$14.95.
The Lemon Chicken Caesar Salad is our twist on a classic and one of our most requested box lunches. If you were to order Caesar Salad box lunches for staff meeting of four, at Ingallina’s in Seattle your total cost would be $65.78 including tax and with free delivery. Other popular catering services in the Seattle area can charge anywhere from $84.02 to $101.95 after taxes and delivery or service fees for four Caesar Salad box lunches.

In the Los Angeles area, you can get four delicious Lemon Chicken Caesar salad lunches from us for $59.80, whereas other caterers charge $75.80 and you don’t get fresh fruit with your meal.

When we create our menu and pricing, we always have transparency in mind. We have you in mind. There is nothing more frustrating than hidden fees when you have a budget and mouths to feed. We don’t believe an adequate meal should be considered an “add-on” experience. We are certainly proud to deliver our food to you with no extra fee, because when you are preparing for an important meeting or event, the last thing you need to worry about is picking up the food.

Never forget the priceless cost of excellent customer service. If you are planning a meeting, event, or need to order lunch for your team, check out our full selection at www.ingallina.com. While our Lemon Chicken Caesar salad is a customer favorite, we offer a wide variety of sandwiches and salads and offer meals for dietary restrictions.

March Specials

These last few months have brought an unexpected blast of cold weather on the West Coast, leaving most of us running for cover to the warmth of our homes and offices. To say it’s driving us all a little stir-crazy would be putting it mildly! This longing to get out and experience the world has inspired us to create some fun, new specials for the month of March. We’ve rounded up flavorful recipes brought to the United States from around the world to share with you!

CORNED BEEF With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, we start with some Irish-American traditions. Corned beef is a favored dish during the month of March and is often thought to be a staple in Ireland. While it is true that corned beef originated in Ireland, the Irish were not the main consumers of this popular dish. Most of the corned beef produced in Ireland was exported to England, where beef was more popular, and more people could afford it. After the Irish Potato Famine, the United States saw an influx of Irish immigrants. These new Americans soon realized that Corned Beef in The States was affordable and easy to come by. It was then that the tradition of corned beef and sauerkraut on St. Patrick’s Day began.

Ingallina’s Box Lunch has a few monthly specials inspired by these Irish-American traditions. The Corned Beef Sandwich is back with a new twist: it is now served on our house-made pretzel baguette! It also comes with onion sauerkraut, swiss cheese, and whole grain mustard. We also have an Irish Pub salad on the menu: gourmet greens topped with radishes, pickled beets, hard boiled eggs, red onions, cucumber, tomatoes, bleu cheese and house-made Thousand Island dressing.

MUFFALETTA New on the menu this month is our version of the Muffaletta Sandwich. The Muffaletta Sandwich—named for the muffaletta bread on which it is served—was made popular here in the United States by Italian immigrants. Salvatore Lupo, owner of the Central Grocery Co. in New Orleans, is credited with being the first to create this flavorful sandwich. One story has it that local Italian farmers selling produce in the French Quarter would come to the Central Grocery Co. to buy cold cuts, cheeses and olive salad. Watching the farmers balance these trays of food on their laps, Lupo figured a sandwich would be easier to eat. Thus in 1906, the Muffaletta Sandwich was born!

Our Muffaletta sandwich comes with sliced ham, Italian salami, and Mortadella, Provolone, and Swiss cheese, red onion, pickled veggies and olive salad, and Dijon mayonnaise, all on our house-made Muffaletta bread, of course![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We hope that you enjoy these wonderful recipes inspired by those who brought and shared the best of their culture. If you are looking for a mental getaway in the month of March, visit our website at www.ingallina.com to order one of our March Specials. But hurry—they’re only available for a limited time!

What is the real cost of your catered lunch? An Ingallina’s Box Lunch Price comparison

Here at Ingallina’s Box Lunch we consider ourselves to be masters of offering high quality food using a simple, no-hidden-fee ordering process. At first glance, other companies might seem to be lower in price, but after add-on items and other fees are added, other box lunches almost always end up being more expensive! We compared our lunches to other caterers to show that our free delivery, low minimums, and inclusive pricing provide our customers with a lunch option that gives the best quality at the best price.

1. Corporate Catering Delivery Fee Comparison

We’ve found that most other caterers add fees to the cost of an order that aren’t mentioned until the order is nearly complete. For example, one caterer charges an $18 delivery fee with each order. This alone can add up to $1 per person to a catering order.

Ingallina’s, on the other hand, has never charged ANY delivery fee and we are proud of it!

2. Boxed Lunch Price Comparison

With our Executive Lunches, we provide a complete box lunch. This includes your choice of entrée, kettle style potato chips (or a roll and butter with salads), an in-house baked cookie, bottled water, and a fresh cut fruit cup. The cost of this complete meal is just $14.45 for our classic sandwiches and wraps, or $14.95 for our classic Salads and Gluten Free options. (We also offer Vegan options in both wraps and salads for no additional charge!)

Let’s compare this to the cost of a nationwide company’s box lunch. Theirs come with the entrée, side (chips, bread or whole apple) and a dessert. The prices for the sandwiches and salads vary between $11.49 and $13.89. Adding a bottled water costs an additional $2.29 and to upgrade your side to a fresh fruit cup will cost an additional $2.19. To get a lunch comparable to our Tomato, Mozzarella & Avocado it would run up to $18.37 without the bag of chips – and this doesn’t even include the delivery fee!

In addition to box lunches, Ingallina’s provides a wider variety of catering options, including 15-20 different types of salad bowls. Our 160 oz Small Green Salad Bowl for 10 people is made with delicious house-made croutons and costs merely $3/person. A comparable item at the other caterer is $5/person and doesn’t include house-made croutons.

3. The hidden value of great customer service from your corporate caterer

At Ingallina’s Box Lunch, we pride ourselves on our top-notch customer service. We work closely with our customers to keep the task of ordering for meetings and corporate events as easy as possible! We know that last minute meetings, order changes, and payment logistics are just a few of the challenges our customers face, and we consider ourselves partners in the challenge!

If you are looking to provide catering for an upcoming event, visit us at www.ingallina.com to find the best quality, best value and best customer service at the best price!
